Five Eyes, Nine Eyes, 14 Eyes Explained

Big tech corporations sells your information to others with out your consent..... not sure why people allow this? Maybe because no one tells them how they do it

The most important paragraph in the entire article is "Trust and jurisdiction":

Trust is also a major factor you should consider. After all, a VPN can operate in a “good” overseas jurisdiction, yet still lie to customers and provide data to government agencies.

A nearby article reports that the developer sold Waterfox to System1. Now I know.

Fossapup OS, Ryzen 5 3600 CPU, 64 GB RAM, GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4 GB, Sound Blaster Audigy Rx with amplifier + Yamaha speakers for loud sound, USB Sound Blaster X-Fi Surround 5.1 Pro V3 + headphones for quiet sound.

Dissenter browser is made by https://gab.com/

But yeah, all free browser collect your data...one of the major ones is google far surpasses apple... many linux distributions do this to their built in browser...

Many browsers send information to the servers in the HTTPS protocol so you can't even see was is being send...lol

gab dot com is behind the Dissenter browser????

And I'm to expect anything different? What I know is it's just tracking data for another agenda....so no real difference other than the color of the flag.

What is gab dot com, a "right wingers" or I guess "conservative" platform?

what I just read on the first page that link above brought me too, would never fit the description of conservatism once upon a time. Sounds like the common Neo-nazi rhetoric espoused by a whole bunch of D students who've lived a life of getting awarded for "participating".

The trick is to feed them lots of data....data you create to follow a magical rabbit down a hole.

And Microsoft works closely with NSA.
That's a fact!

No offense, but Microsoft (Apple, Mozilla, Google, IBM, or anyone) doing contract work for any government does not mean they are sharing info.

There is much misguidance on the reality of information that we have. This usually surfaces as complaints without a corrected picture.

Governments are going to guide the operations of all companies and corporations operating within their borders with the laws they create. And, those laws will be in accordance of business practices that have been in place for the past 9000 years.

I love the "D" students paragraph reference! :!:

That also doesn't mean they aren't or won't be sharing ...
What about "not doing contract work at all", Clare?

How do you personally determine which is misguidance and which is fact?

It's a bit dangerous to assert that other people's opinions are misguided unless you have some pretty solid information. I think there's a risk of that behaviour being seen as slander.

It has been very obvious for a long time that large corporates hardly ever put individual privacy ahead of corporate profit and/or government edict.

That thread starts, clearly, I think: "No offense..."

Not liking its contents doesn't mean it is slander as you put it. Until you mentioned, I am not sure if others feel they are being approached that way.

Corporations follow whatever business practices countries allow them to operate with. And within each country their govts make rules of their operations, often in concert.

I dont represent nor stand with any govt or corp. But I do recognize the structure(s) we face both from our govts as well as the corporations that provide the products we use.

It little tough to navigate from time to time, but, we do what we feel is best. Best is not always perfect.
