new install running good.
for a while now I have been missing spellchecking in seamonkey. Is aspell responsible? spellchecking in librewrite works ok, but I think it is hunspell?
aspell seems to be installed, but
seems like spell check works in the seamonkey that comes with easy, but not with a portablized one I use for browsing.... guess I shouldnt mention it here as seamonkey doesnt appear to need aspell
I compiled the missing dictionary, but not sure how to test it as I dont know what easy application would call it.
I compiled SeaMonkey to use hunspell. It is a configure option when compiling.
Look in /usr/lib/seamonkey/dictionaries, you will see symlinks to the hunspell dictionaries.
If you put those symlinks into your portable SM, then spell checking should work, but only if SM was compiled with hunspell support.
