Developing a How-To for DVDStyler on Bionic64

Post by rockedge »

After some more experimenting with DVDStyler in Bionic64 installed using PKG-cli after adding the repo:

Code: Select all

pkg add-repo ppa:ubuntuhandbook1/dvdstyler

Though I think that this is working because of the efforts to get Devede to have the correct python3 support.

Hi rockedge,
I have dvdstyler running in stretch 7.5, so I thought I'd try bionic64 8.0. Installed pkg-cli and loaded the ubuntu repo per your post, then used ppm to try and install. Fails. Repo is there and updated.

Next tried the same thing in fossa64, which would be my choice of x64 pups, this time I chose download with dependencies. 47 files downloaded and 40 failed.

Any suggestions on how to get the missing 40 files?

thanks
