Right on. I've been using these. Private.sh is a truly private search engine, but it won't give you 'convenient' results, as it uses gigablast, which is an actual web crawler. Swisscows is probably the next rung down the ladder in terms of privacy, but a lot more convenient in grabbing the context of the search.
