Xlock (xlock_gui-0.2-7) not working on my old Dell Vostro 1400 32 bit laptop with bionicpup32-8.0+0-uefi.iso. Tried
reinstalling xlock, but still doesn't work. I feel it's a minor fix, but beyond my newbie capabilities. Thanks in advance.

Re: Xlock Not Working
Hello George,
I need to ask you what exactly you did to try to activate Xlock? BionicPup32 does not appear to have a desktop icon for it. The Menu has 2 different items for it in 2 different sections. There is the configuration GUI in the "Desktop" section of the Menu. This only allows you to choose the screensaver pattern that displays. The preview windows are a bit strange in that they ask you to confirm that you want to kill the window, but this seems OK when you do. The Menu item to activate Xlock is in the System section. If you want a desktop icon for this, look for it in /usr/share/applications and drag it out. In the other thread, Phil suggested deleting some hidden config files, notably /root/.xlockrc that is worth a try.

Re: Xlock Not Working
The only "icon" is in the shutdown menu. Tried it. Nothing happens. Yes, I found the screensavers, but nothing there either. Yes, I've tried the system section "activate Xlock", but again nothing happens. I'll look at Phil's post. And, report back later.
