Hi
I did receive today my fist panorama camera with 2 objectives, a cheap model sold initially at Aldi Nord (the initially price was 100 Euro; actual price for returned and verifyed cameras is under 30 Euro including sending within Germany).
Why panorama photography?
I am an engaged bicyclist and will deal some advantages for cyclist through the presentation of places and ways having some great inconvenients .
But I am totally newbie concerning 360° panorama pictures or videos.
Are you perhaps knowing details at this field (probably more reserved for androidists as for puppyists ).
My goal would be for exemple to add some marks on the pictures or videos, or to cover the face of persons or car immatriculations number, or add some color lines / forms to delimit some areal etc.
I would also be to crop the videos to avoid certain parts to save time and give certain discretion as well as for better size.
Can linux / puppy help?

Re: 360° Panorama-Photography
I only "glued" individual photos into a panorama in the best program for this - Hugin. The program in PPM, but there seems to be something for 2019. Better to take a fresh Appimage. It works exactly in Fossapup, but I don’t know how in other variants.
Different devices. Different approach.

If you are able to pull a file out of the camera you probably can use any image or video editor.
Can you provide a sample file here, just for fun? I made a short google search for the camera, I would not expect too much from it.

You can find the Hugin-panorama AppImage grey mentioned here, https://github.com/aferrero2707/hugin-a ... continuous. The 2019 version also works under Bionicpup64. Haven't tried the 2020 version. The publisher's website is here, http://hugin.sourceforge.net/
Re: Questions about 360° Panorama-Photography
Hi
Thank you very much.
The pictures/videos are presented here:
-pictures:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yqy3b4FKoy4 (use your mouse like in "streetview"!)
- videos
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bt5MJs0FHp0
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R-PK6FLcy7M
As you see, there a spherical deformations in the raw pictures. more: the parts (view made by objective 1 and objectiv 2 can be side inversed (the nose is after that there where the ears have to be and inversed ) etc.
And you often will wish that your hand or your helmet have to be visible on the bottom or side of the picture
This is completely different from panorama pictures made step by step with normal objectives

Weird.
I don't get the single pictures, only the video. But maybe my browser can't display youtube properly.
It looks like this:
The inserted preview at the timeline shows properly.
Have fun playing with your new toy!
