Woof-CE can one change what apps are included in the build?

Post by Mike3 »

So I haven't used Woof-CE yet, but I am thinking about doing a build with it.

Is there a choice of which apps to include in the initial build .iso?

Can one remove any of the included apps before building with Woof-CE so that they aint included?

Is there a list of which apps are included?

Like I saw there is a web browser included. This makes sence you wanna surf from the get go but one could get like another than the one included and have on like a USB and then just install that when the .iso is ready or something.

Generally, YES, YES and YES.

But I don't know how to do exactly via Woof-CE. I did it manually after building with Woof-CE.

Is that possible in SID in 32 bit (SID is yet fully available in 32 bit and works very well with old applications like Xombrero browser, Xvidcap and probably a lot of thousands of genial old applications only good in 32 bit!)?

(if you have success, you have a system you can actualise in rolling maneer from time to time and have always compatibility with one of the greatest base of software of our world in it's newerst version :thumbup2: !)

view on my daily actualised 32 bit little installation of sid (I don't work with it: I only get and try my 32 packages installed later in Dpup Buster XFCE from josejp2424; the compatibility is great and old sofware like xombrero works pretty also in a lot of news papers (not requiring HTML5! HTML5 is the limit  !)

but xombrero, seamonkey (here rel. 2.32), and pale moon (here rel. 29,2,0, also the last possible release of pale moon in 32 bit) work all perfectly in Dpup Buster XFCE4 from josejp2424, - yes I did restart with it-. The installed flashplugin is oldest operable version I did found with only 9,740 kB: it is not possible to look with it at all HTML5 videos but a lot agree to work and, great advantage, you can catch a copy of the videos in /tmp without to have to download especially  !
