Thanks, darry, for recommending it. But personally, I recommend either dpup-stretch or precise-lite. Those interested can now find links to their ISOs in this Section. Both radky, who published dpup-stretch, and jrb who published precise-lite, know far more about Linux than I. It was just accidental that I got to be the first to publish a modernized version of a favorite puppy.
I can't reach the OP on the old forum, either. And because of the above and that it no longer plays 'nice' on my 'too-powerful' computer, I'm not going to re-write that post. But, if anyone is interested in trying it, it can be downloaded from https://www.mediafire.com/folder/qs5aai ... /CE_Slacko

Hi Mike,

I Decided that I'd try to list all the modernish Pupplets/puppies I could remember listing until the authors of those might make their own thread I would then delete mine. Primary reason any new person comming to the forum will be able to access them. Nice that you listed Stretch because I for some reason forgot about it so nice - thankyou Mike.
