qpdf prevents me viewing pdf files. How to get rid of it?

Post by jakobus »

QPDF has appeared 0n my computer uninvited. Can anyone tell me how to get rid of it. It blocks me from viewing (and printing) pdf files.

If you ave another PDF viewer installe such as evince, you can set that as your default PDF viewer

Navigate as follows: Menu -> Setup -> Default applications viewer - (select PDF pulldown menu)

BTW, I a writing this in LXSCPup64, but something similar should be in all puppies.

BionicPup64's default pdf program is qpdfview.

I don't have any executable named qpdf.

Code: Select all

# qpdf
bash: qpdf: command not found
#

Is something trying to run qpdf?
Or is it trying to run qpdfview, and qpdfview is not running properly?
