iMac and wireless keyboard

Post by BologneChe »

Hi!
I usually use easyos on my laptop (Acer Spin 1). I gave it a try on my iMac. I was able to get wifi by installing the correct driver (Broadcom-from the Acer) to plug in the wireless mouse (magic mouse-via Bluetooth). Where there is a problem is connecting the wireless keyboard (via Bluetooth). Has anyone tried this on an iMac?

Thanks!

Hi!!
feedback ...
I was able to connect the magic keyboard. All you had to do was enter the PIN code. Small problem, I have to reconnect the keyboard each time I start up. The Bluetooth manager tells me that it is connected but it is inactive.
For the magic mouse, it connects at startup. Small problem, I am unable to use page scrolling.
Another observation, the start of Easyos is carried out only during a restart of macOS and not of a cold start.
I will continue my experiment ...

Bye!

Hi!!!

Another return on this file ...
I am now upgrading to Dunfell 2.7. The bluetooth keyboard is active, the magic mouse is also active but I still haven't solved the scroll / tap problems. I have done some research and solutions exist but I do not yet have enough experience to apply them - https://github.com/rohitpid/Linux-Magic ... d-2-Driver. Regarding the mouse, the magic mouse 1 is much easier to connect to bluetooth than the magic mouse 2. As soon as I returned to macOS, it was difficult to get the iMac to recognize the bluetooth keyboard. All in all very nice ... I'll stick with a traditional mouse for now! :thumbup2:

Voilà!!!
