How to switch to the Window Manager I installed?

I installed IceWM on FossaPup-64.

take a look at /etc/windowmanager
open it with Texteditor / Geany
in mine (upup-ef) there is written 'jwm', which is the filename of the windowmanager's executable .
try to change that to your WM.

Check, if the filename of your WMs executable got find in the searchpath
test it with which [filename] in Konsole.
If the answer is blank, extend your searchpath.

Normally you menu->Exit->Exit to prompt
At the prompt enter:
xwin (name of the window manager you want to use)
X server starts using that window manager.
