file.pet function. What it does? Can Gpptp-v2.0.pet solve l2tp connection issue?

] Hi, Could someone explain me what is Gpptp-v2.0.pet file ?
I went through the forum and i found several mentions of files with .pet extensions. What do they do?

*.pet is the default package format for Puppy. Just double click the pet file and it will install to the system

Gpptp is a VPN client for VPN servers that uses PPTP protocol only.

For L2TP VPN I suggest to use QuickPup which has builtin VPN client with different protocols to choose from
