Recognition for DpupBuster

Post by amethyst »

Why aren't Jose's efforts recognized as official mainstream Puppy's? I think it should. He actually provides 32-bit AND 64-bit systems, very useful. I vote for his releases to be "elevated" to the mainstream Puppy category, most certainly deserves it. PS: we have DpupStretch listed as a mainstream Puppy.

Ditto. Good catch, amethyst. Their location was made in the early days when we were scrambling to get everything done. Once an environment exists you get used to it and it's difficult to recognize that things aren't in their proper places.

DpupBuster is a woof build --not a remaster, nor specialized-- and a recent one at that. AFAIK, that's the criteria for a Mainstream Puppy. josejp2424's work meets that criteria.

josejp2424's Dpup Buster CE is certainly as good as any official puppy. I'll let the main puppy developers explain how a puppy becomes official because I don't completely know the process and all the requirements.
