Repeating a bug I found.
The pupClockSet was erratic with the correct time for me.
I was using the GMT- timezone which produced this error.
Switching to America/Los Angeles solved the problem.

America/Los Angeles is NOT the same as GMT-8.
GMT-8 is always exactly that, 8 hours behind GMT.
Whereas America/Los Angeles automatically takes Daylight Saving into account. Therefore America/Los Angeles is GMT-8 during Standard Time, but it is GMT-7 during Daylight Saving.
People in the US should always use the appropriate America/xxx setting for their time zone,, not a "GMT-N" setting.
