I am working with 32 bit OS's at the moment so I'll give this version a tryout.

Is this the same as the Light Browser? The latter is not being developed anymore but it was a cut-down version of Firefox 48 or thereabouts (2016).

Download link? How does it cope with the youtube site and youtube videos? A quick google and it seems to be a Tahr package, so old?

Thanks, ljlj, for calling this to our attention.

@ rockedge, this thread should probably be moved to the Additional Software, Browsers and Internet Section.

Since it's published as a 'Ubuntu' deb, Slackos and some other Puppies may require some libs. Let us know.

Light 48 is the default browser in X-Tahr & maybe X-Slacko if I recall. Calling a new browser Firefox Light 28 is at the least confusing. That link went to an Ubuntu 14.04 app (Tahr).

Light 48 is a good browser, a bit dated, yet has the odd quality of flagging a lot of pages as security risks.

A current compatible browser at that size is a coup. The world outside of Puppy is bloated.

Hmmm... theres a lot of about:config work to be done on this browser. There are NO add-ons available for it. Only two TLS 1.2 cryptos are still good. Unless the OP did some HEAVY lifting, youtube is NOT accessible. I have my doubts about ebay also. Just like my FF27 build the web is shrinking for this browser.
