chrome/chromium, is the same for extensions, i guess..

What version of Palemoon browser?
The videos are from where on the internet?
Is this on a computer monitor or what?
Laptop or desktop computer?
The things you do not tell us, are usually the clue to fixing the problem.

You should be able to make gamma corrections with the Xorg Video Wizard in the menu. This will affect all colours produced by the system and not only the video you are watching but you can make the change temporarily and change back after watching your videos. Most video players (like VLC) have colour correction settings but you seem to be watching videos being streamed through the embedded video player of a website (I'm guessing you are not saying).
