Hello Exton
Can you Puppyify a build of Debian (downloads in spot, spot in home) for Radpi-os 3,4,5, models for people that have them. Keep it pure Debian so that apt and synaptic work. For desktop use GDM3 as it has a login with where one does not have to type in ones user name.
I my self use the Mate desktop but I know how to install that myself.
Just a minimal as most of us like to roll our own. (firewall always on, a terminal, network manager plus whatever is necessary for minimal to get us started) Thanks

Request fpr raspi 5 build
Re: Request fpr raspi 5 build
@exton I would like to second that request. I have been using RasPup on a 4B 8G and it just can't work with newest browsers cause its 32 bit and the libs are too old. If you had a 64 bit pup that worked on Pi I would switch immediately. If you decide to go for it and I can be of help send me PM.
Re: Request fpr raspi 5 build
I wouldn't be opposed to working on a new Raspup (though it wouldn't be a PuppEX then), but I don't have a Raspberry Pi, and QEMU doesn't seem to have a model for the RasPi 5. Could we figure something out, perhaps?
Re: Request fpr raspi 5 build
@IdfbAn All I have is a 4B with 8 GB of ram. Is there a model for that? To be upfront I have no experience compiling something as complicated as an entire distro. But I am willing to help in any way that makes sense. PM me if you want to talk details about "figuring something out"

QEMU does have a raspi4b
machine, but the docs says it has 2 GiB of RAM. I'm not sure if specifying the RAM anyway with -m
overrides that or not.

I don't want to PM you for that, simply because I want the discussion to be open. A new thread about the development of a new RasPup64 would be great, though.
