Yup, you're right. Thanks for pointing that out @mikeslr

All those I tried have vmlinuz and sfs files that I had to rename to zdrv_bionicpup64_8.0.sfs. So if the driver/modules are specific for that kernel version, I'm back to my old question, why didn't the audio get any better? :?: Not configured properly before getting compiled? Missing components? Maybe there's is hope then.

Alright gents. @williams2 shared a solution and solved this audio problem. I mean solved SOLVED. I had to uncheck "Speaker" (is this for internal pc speaker not the external speakers?). That's it. After doing that, the audio quality IS FANTASTIC!

crazy sometimes how simple the fix is. I have over thought many a issue and gone down rabbit holes chasing a "solution". Really glad to see it solved completely. The fact it is a configuration change is actually good news :thumbup:

I'm kinda thankful it made me go down the rabbit hole or I would have not learned how to compile a kernel. 😊
