f96ce4-64-sml-2

Post by ozsouth »

I made f96ce4-64-sml-2. This is a remaster of Fossapup64-9.6-CE-4, made with rockedge's permission. At 444mb, I trimmed 99mb, so some things are missing from original. I basically removed the ydrv & added in what I considered essential. Has updateable Palemoon (non-avx) browser, 35mb firmware, 6.1.116 p-series kernel. Media (including CD & DVD) is handled by MPV player. Should run OK on older (not ancient) PCs. Use at own risk.

v2 here: https://puppylinux.com/ccount220/click. ... ce4-64sml2

If bigger firmware fdrv needed, see (must rename fdrvs to suit puppy to be used): viewtopic.php?p=121635#p121635

All these CD-size spins are great. I still have almost 50 CDs that can now be put to good use. It's much easier to remaster than with Ventoy ISOs, and optical storage just got a lot cheaper. Thanks a million, ozsouth.

I don't use TahrPup anymore, but I still like it. Bookworm, S15, KLA-KDE, KLV, Noble, FossaDog, BionicDog, and BionicPup-Revival on every machine, 'cause I'm always breaking something. First line of code - 1968.
