In the ISO v2, the Palemoon browser is provided in the adrv SFS.
It does not allow you to update it automatically.
I have updated mine - English GB dictionaries added

V6 released. See first post.
@Jasper - to update, in a terminal, run palemoon (starts it as root) & click Help, then Check for Updates & accept, restart & close. When you then start Palemoon from the icon, will have updated version with the security of run-as-spot.
Transitioned my ydrive driven LXDE'd fossapup64-small 5f to fossapup64-low 8. No hitches so far. Hardware is the sixth gen I5 all Intel Fujitsu U747. All the 'small' pets I have installed seem ok, all symlinked portables are ok, booted so far with the stock kernel and with ozsouths' 6.12.12. In that now, running overlayfs. Clean dmesg, correct early microcode loading.
Posting from the current Brave browser, run-as-spot portable.
My ydrv needed only the background image and the symlink to my ydrive workspace on the Data partition changed, both to reflect the name change.
The very small fdrive I carry in all my pups is unchanged and contains only:
Code: Select all
root# ls -R
.:
lib
./lib:
firmware
./lib/firmware:
i915 iwlwifi-8000C-36.ucode regulatory.db
intel iwlwifi-8265-36.ucode regulatory.db.p7s
./lib/firmware/i915:
kbl_dmc_ver1_04.bin skl_dmc_ver1_27.bin
./lib/firmware/intel:
ibt-11-5.ddc ibt-11-5.sfi ibt-12-16.ddc ibt-12-16.sfi
Thanks,
My pups: LxPupSc64 and Voidpup64 with LXDE ydrv and synaptics touchpad drivers, using small savefiles for customizations. Ydrv based NoblePup64 and Fossapup64-low (both LXDE/PCManFM with no savefiles). Small common custom fdrv throughout.
