About Crypt Save, Grub4DOS and ext2/3/4

a very small Live CD shaped to look and act like Puppy Linux.

@fredx181

Just FYI, my encrypted save file changes.dat got corrupted and read-only again. With the btrfs.
I didn't bother with trying to fix it. I just rebooted using a changes directory (I keep two separate entries on my grub menu) then deleted changes.dat and created a new one. And rebooted again.
I'm running on the new changes.dat file. Let's see how long it will last.

It just happened AGAIN.
That was fast.
Not encrypted this time so maybe we can rule encryption out?
Trying again. XFS this time. Go or bust!

Corrupted again.

I'm giving up on the save file format. I believe it's unusable. Going back to a changes directory.

Would be interesting to know how come that it's getting corrupted. Running out of space perhaps :?: .
I've used savefile many times (although in the past) and didn't have such problems.

I don't think I ran out of space. There was plenty.
On two occasions I had a DAW scanning plugins.
On two occasions I was installing something with Synaptic, many packages on a single run.
Maybe intense disk activity triggers the probem. I don't know.
