To try Devuan dog, do I have to use the mklive-daedalus script? Or is an ISO available?

There is the "Starter Kit" ISO based on Devuan, see: viewtopic.php?t=644
As the name says it's rather minimal, for more extended choices, use mklive-daedalus .
