Easily Add Chrome to Puppy Linux

Post by theroar84 »

First, thank you to everyone here for answering questions so helpfully. I have learned so much from all of you.

I have started taking what I have gleaned and putting it on YouTube. My goal is clear and concise content.

Today's video walks through adding Chrome. It points at the forum, and gives tips for modifying the desktop a tiny bit too.

Thanks again for all the support. Let me know if there is a better location for information like this.

Running Fossa64 9.5 Multiple PC's Frugal Installs on EXT4 hard drives. Multiple Frugals per PC too.

@theroar84 :-

Nicely done, young man. Very easy to follow.....unlike some I could think of. Spatry's Cup Of Linux comes to mind!

I have no problems understanding most of you guys over the Pond, but there's a few accents I have trouble with. "Spatry" has one of these, and not only that, he's one of these guys that rabbits away at nineteen to the dozen. He talks so fast I have a hell of a job understanding him....

You, on the other hand, are a model of clarity. And you look like you've been at this for a few years already.....

TBH, it doesn't matter if you're talking about the Puppy or the portable browser.....they're all team efforts, 'cos there's been a ton of input over the years from all sorts of folks. Despite that I'm the one who hosts the portables, and has posted about most of them, I refuse to take credit for the efforts of others. Every suggestion or idea, no matter how small, has been worthy of consideration. Really, Fred's to blame. ( :lol: ) I had the idea for Linux portable apps all those years ago when I first switched to this side of the fence.....but Fred's the one who got me off my backside & actually doing something about it!

Well done.

Mike. ;)
