I am from Germany and my english ist extremly bad. A little bit like Google translator. 
So I just can hope, that I will accomplish to describe my problem and understand the answers (if I get some).
My problem is: My beloved xenialpup (I work with it since two years now) has absolutely no problems to connect to a router with WPA2. Tried it several times. BUT: As it seems only directly. Means: I am houseless and are sitting in a holiday flat for the next three month. Warm X-mas with a bed to sleep. Great. The man that hired the flat (an older one) has a Fritzbox as router and allows his guests to use the Internet with a special guest-account. Don`t know how he configurated it.
As it doesn`t work, he said, that never guests had problems to connect to the internet via this guest-account and it must be my old laptop and my strange OS. I suggested to connect directly to his router and ... as expected ... it works without a problem. So it is definitely NOT my "strange" puppy-OS and my old MSI VR601.
Than something extremly strange happend. He is very helpful and brought by an internet stick (did not work) and accidentally he rebootet in Vista. Vista was pre-installed and I kept a bare version without any service pack or update just for reading documents that I can`t read with puppy. The network adapter (Atheros AR5007EG) quit working in Vista without a special update a long time ago and I did this special update deliberately not, because I didn´t want Vista connecting itself to the internet for searching updates.
The renter of the flat saw the windows internet symbol in the bottom right corner, clicked it, it found several WLAN-connections 
and - I could not believe it - he entered the guest-account
password an got in!!!
The next hours I tried to get a browser that works to get a connection to the world outside. I am totally foreign to this region, with a bad healed broken ankle joint not good afoot, have to manage a lot of things and there is the corona lockdown... horrible. I am "on" now, but not really. The internet connection breaks down sometimes all 5 to 10 minutes. It says that the access is just local.
I do not have a lot of money and - much more important - I don´t want to buy a windows laptop.When a bare dead windows version with a missing Atheros driver can connect to the Internet, so why can´t puppy do so? What could be wrong or is missing?
Im not able to understand the log report. I suppose - as far as I understand it - that my puppy recognizes the Fritzbox but is not able to connect to it via this special channel.
Is there anyone out there - if possible a patient one, because I just use puppy - that can help me solve that problem?

Since my last reply most time with just "local access" (Zugriff nur lokal)... Wrote this message when it exceptionally worked, pressed the "send" button and ... I am a very patient person but ...
