Hello everyone!
I am new to the forum but definitely not new to Linux (about 20 years of experience playing with Linux). Last night I tried to use BookwormPup 64 10.0.7 by booting into the ISO (I am using a Qemu VM running on an Arch Linux laptop) and and I am able to boot into the ISO, make some changes such as creating test files, changing time zone, enabling NTP, changing my root password and hostname, and then creating a save folder when rebooting/shutting down the OS. The issue that I am facing is that when I boot back into the ISO, the Save folder does not load and my changes that I had made are not applied at all. I do see the /mnt/vda1 partition is mounted and when I click on it, I can see the save folder within it with the files I created, but none of the changes I made to the system itself, are applied at all. I was under the impression that the save folder would save all of the system changes that I made and that Puppy would load them automatically after reboot/boot up and I would not have to do them all over again. Am I understanding this whole process correctly or am I missing some key vital steps to make the save folder load properly?
