Can't launch/open unzipped app file

Post by Jamayka24 »

Dozens of files in the unzipped folder but don't see any that will install the
BalenaEtcher program. Used the terminal app 'unzip' Thanks

That link took me in the wrong direction . Its not about Etcher.
I tried with Clonezillas instruction from their site :
# unzip clonezilla-live-2.7.3-21-amd64.zip -d /media/disk/

and got ' cannot find or open file'
See screenshot which shows the file sitting right there in Downloads.
Did I not complete the command properly where it has media/disk/ ??

So long as you have a /media/disk/ location (or if in fact it's actually /mnt/sdb1), rt-clk in your Downloads folder and go >> "Window >> Terminal Here" and retry your command. Spec the location where you want the file unpacked.

LOL - I copied the version number from the clonezilla tutorial but my
download was a newer version so its no wonder it couldn't find the file.
Seems to be on the drive now, going to see if the drive is bootable.
They could have put ' or whatever version you downloaded' but they
wrongly assumed that all the people using it are intelligent :-))
