Speed test at boot - Question: what is a good number? [SOLVED]

Hello everybody:

When you start Easy os, your system indicates a number (the less the better)

SPEED TEST OF THE WORKING PARTITION.-

Can you share what is this number (or tell me what you consider is a good result) to know how my system works.-

It is 64.- It is good, medium, bad ???

thought it was better on account of install on a internal ssd drive
booting from USBs is of course more like bugnaw reports or worse

Of course I agree with this idea. SSD gives a better value when booting, but THE ANSWER IS... does it matter when running in RAM?

That is, with an SSD you are going to obtain a better (smaller) value when booting, but it is important when working with EasyOs?

As EasyOs runs in RAM, an SSD is important when booting, but not when working, isn't it? So this value (20's) is influenced by RAM?? (is possible he uses DDR3 or DDR4... I don't know)

On the 2009 Frankenstein build and Easy OS is installed as a frugal to a mechanical hard drive it shows 77.

I think it varies sometimes although ain't sure.

When I use USB flash drives (2.0) and Easy OS installed as a frugal I've seen 140 could be more.

As long as it boots and works don't think it really makes a difference. (scratches head)

I don't really understand the significance of the number value anyway.

I used to understand a lot more about Linux although older I get the more confused I become about this stuff.

Hey @Caramel Thanks for posting the link.

From what I gather from a quick read it's the speed the drive is reading at startup.

I'll go back and read it several more times to make certain I understand what I'm reading.

cheap USB drives can give problems, and sometimes expensive USB drives can have poor peformance especially if they were bought from questionable vendors,

I use the speed info to verify nominal workability, and dont really put much thought into the value if I find the drive to be within expectations.
