The option 2 at boot allow you to return to the last snapshot that is a session that have been saved as a backup by Easy Version Control (Section Files of the menu). (Or created automatically at the first boot of a new vesion of Easy)

It's different of the saving of session before reboot that is writing on the hdd (or sdd)

Before return to a previous session(snapshot) , take a new snapshot if you not want lost the last modifications.

Sort of related.

I've been a bit over zealous with the "running in RAM option". For reasons I still don't know I ticked the 'permanent' box when shutting down and choose the save last session in RAM at next boot up. That prompted me with a permanent option. Ticked that box.

How do I revert this? I've been looking around in the system tools but no success yet.

Anyone? :thumbup2:

"Get a pup", they said. "It'll be fun", they said. They where right!
(Various Pups with save folder in QEMU/KVM)

Launch lockdown-ram in terminal.

If it does not work. try (excerpt from the lockdown-ram help) :

To restore normal bootup, you have to choose Normal bootup (remove lockdown) from the menu at bootup.
