@fbagnato - that message is usually due to a bootloader mismatch - possibly looking for an efi file on a non-efi system. It won't cause harm.

Laptop Dell 1525
Nic: Broadcom BCM4321 [14e4:4328] (rev 03)

Kernel changed to 5.15.147-64oz-ao
firmware: see first page
module added: wl-64-updt-k5.15.147ao-skip

rebooted and changed default network connection tool, to Connman.

Dell WLAN 1397 Minicard not detected in S15Pup64 22.12 (SOLVED)

Problem is now solved.

Puppy variant: S15Pup64 v22.12

Laptop: Dell Studio 1555
Nic: Dell WLAN 1397 Half MiniCard (Broadcom BCM4321 [14e4:4315] (rev 01))

Kernel changed to 5.15.147-64oz-ao
firmware: fdrv_26feb24oz.sfs
module added: wl-64-updt-k5.15.147ao-skip (Built into installed Kernel)

Kernel 5.15.147-64oz-ao installed (from: viewtopic.php?p=113087#p113087). Wifi adapter is now detected.
