Private message hanging in my Outbox

Is mail monitored and needs to be cleared by an admin?

After hours, what makes an Outbox message Sent?

This can happen if you are editing a PM at the times, when the recipient opens it to read.
At least that happened to me on the old Puppy forum a few times.
Perhaps @rockedge can remove it?

this was a problem on the old forum. That issue shouldn't be a problem here. Unless the recipient actually opens the message it will remain in your Outbox..

Is it alright now?

No, you don't do anything wrong.
Messages are in Outbox until the recipient opens it to read.
After the recipient opens it, the message moves to the Sent-box.

taersh is correct! You are sending private messages the right way. It will not be in the "Sent" box until the recipient opens the message.
