Localsend is a free, open-source, cross-platform file sharing gui that works well in linux (?puppy). I use it to transfer files/folders between my cell phone photos and 2 PCs at home. It has replaced gftp in linuxmint PCs at home. I have tried tar, deb, Appimage( with chmod +x) but can't get any of them to work in F96 puppy. Can any of the puppy gurus figure out how to get this working? Link is here: https://localsend.org/#/download
can localsend be ported to puppy? (solved)

On BookwormPup64 the appimage launches OK for me, showing the localsend GUI (don't know if it can work properly though).

I have the appimage working on F96-CE_4. It needs a package installed with the PPM -> libayatana-appindicator3-1_0.5.4-2

Actually I am not using the appimage.....but extracted the tarball and put that stuff into ~/my-applications and launched it from there by clicking on the binary.

@rockedge Erik: This is elegant and the easiest solution. The binary only works after installing the libayatana-appindicator3-1_0.5.4-2 from PPM.
