Is this the only thing that's messed up? How did you change the cursor?

Which "bigger cursor" did you choose?
First step to problem resolution is to be able to reproduce the issue.
First step to be able to reproduce the issue is to know the exact steps that you previously did.
So please kindly provide details.

Normally my monitor resolution 1440x900 for all OSs. I think, the screen resolution 1600x1200 is fit for using Obsidian 48 cursor.
Hope no more problem.
Thanks for advice.

Is the original mess up solved? If so, how?

Actually it is not solved, just another way to make it works. I dont know how to fix it.
It is the first time in life I need to change the screen resolution for working bigger cursor, very odd.

Was the new cursor too large until you changed the screen resolution? And what about the image in your first post?

The new cursor is not too large, but to make it works without problem I have to change the screen resolution to higher setting otherwise I will get the image in my first post.

I've been running the obsidian cursor for ages, and never encountered this problem.
So today for a test I open terminal, run xrandr -s 1440x900 to force the to 1440x900, and then launch TAS by typing tas in the same terminal. I couldn't reproduce the problem, everything looked fine on my machine.

Not saying that the problem isn't real, I'm just saying that I can't reproduce it here ... and hence can't do much more. Perhaps the problem is with your specific VGA card or something. At least you have the 1600x1200 as the solution.

@jamesbond
Thanks for testing, which the other OSs without that problem. I think it is just crappy graphic card of my HpLaptop especially for fatdog.
I tested also on my PC fatdog works fine.
Dont worry, I will go back to cursor default with 1440x900 screen resolution that I used to.
Have a good day.
