Huge kernel: huge-6.1.8-fossapup64 from https://archive.org/download/Puppy_Linux_Huge-Kernels
Windows 11
HP Envy Laptop 17t-cr100
Puppy savefile (1.8 GiB free)
Libreffice-7.5.9_64_en-US_xz.sfs
For some reason I don't understand, I can't install LibreOffice via Bootmanager, or by clicking on the file and answering the prompts.
I obtained the sfs in the first place by clicking the "Get Libre Office" button in Menu>Document. This seemed to automatically download a .deb, then convert that into an .sfs file. Location is in /mnt/home. As far as I can tell, everything is normal for how I've loaded .sfs files for years. Yet though BootManager says it is successful, and shows it loaded, there is no LibreOffice folder in /opt (as there should be), and no program.
I've tried multiple times uninstalling it through BootManager, saving, shutting down and rebooting. To clean everything out. Then re-installing it using BootManager or other means.
I've tried also installing a different version found in the Fossapup Ibiblio repository -- this other version is LibreOffice-6.4.4_64_en-GB_xz.sfs . But it also shows the same behavior??!
I have a Kdenlive.sfs in /mnt/home, and I can mount that normally through BootManager.
I'm really confused by this! Help would be appreciated.
