How to use xfreerdp in FossaPup?

Post by WKM »

Hello Forum,

I installed version 2.2.0 from the package manager with xfreerdp, under
FossaPupp64 problems. The main problem is the multimon support. These
Problems should be solved under the development version 3.0-dev.

I downloaded the binary package for this:
https://ci.freerdp.com/job/freerdp-nigh ... l=pkg-deb/

Does anyone manage to get this to work under FossaPupp64? If so can
someone give me a detailed description of what to do.

Unfortunately, my knowledge is not sufficient.

Thank you.
Siegfried

Did you see this?

XfreeRDP/FreeRDP as well as RDESKTOP which comes with many Linux are RDP clients designed to connect to an RDP server. ALL Windows since 1995 come with the RDP server ability as well as built-in clients. NO LINUX comes with this server ability so if you need an RDP server in Linux, you will need to find one. XRDP, an RDP server has been written about and tested in the old PUPPY forum.

If you are trying to get an RDP client, you might try RDESKTOP in PPM if XFreeRDP will not work connecting to your RDP server. Its GUI is friendly.
