A Xenial to Fossa upgrader's comments

For years I was a very happy user of Xenial Puppy, it was like my favourite shoes, but finally I made myself a bootable USB stick with Fossa.

I configured everything to be equally comfortable, and it's great — it looks almost the same, but the browsers are now up to date. Thank you!

There was only one thing that baffled me, which is how to turn off the semi-transparency thing that happens to windows that lose the focus.

How do you do that, and make it act like Xenial, which (I think) was all opaque by default?

Look at the Window Effects section. There are window transparency settings there!

If anyone else reads this after trying changing loads of settings, there's a "stop" button in there, and it does what it says.
