Adding pSchedule to KLV-Airedale

Post by rockedge »

The utility pSchedule from Puppy Linux a GUI to manage cron jobs is a tool that I find very useful often enough I decided to assemble a .xbps package and add it to KLV-Airedale-sr11.

So far working in preliminary tests :geek: :thumbup2:

The package can be tested! Hopefully it will work OOTB. Link is in the first post.

So far simple tests work well, now a more complex task to initiate background tasks on an Owncloud server set up :geek:

Also I have cronutils listed as a dependency which might not be necessary, testing this out this morning is on the schedule.

UPDATE: I missed putting in the start/stop script for crond into the final package...!! I fixed the package and it's now uploaded to https://rockedge.org/kernels

Also should work on KLV-Spectr-rc2 and KLV-Spectr-RT.

Should work on @Sofiya 's beautiful KLV creations as well :thumbup2:
