BionicPup use problem

Post by yuan »

hi,all

I like puppy linux very much. I have been using it since 2015. I recently switched the version to BionicPup. I found some problems during the use. I hope to get your help.

1. Firefox 6.0.0.2esr cannot play the video on the webpage.
2. VidCutter-6.0.0-x64.AppImage’ cannot run normally (execution permission has been granted) and needs to be run as'sudo'. Other .AppImage files do not have this problem. These files can run normally in the FossaPup64 test.

The error is as follows:

# /root/VidCutter-6.0.0-x64.AppImage
QStandardPaths: XDG_RUNTIME_DIR not set, defaulting to '/tmp/runtime-root'
Segmentation fault

3.wine-3.15_64.pet can run normally, but converted to a .sfs file, the loading fails to run (the packaging is no problem), and the FossaPup64 test can run normally.

thanks!

Double posted this.
See other topic.

The things you do not tell us, are usually the clue to fixing the problem.
When I was a kid, I wanted to be older.
This is not what I expected :o
