Wine 5.17 on the SFS repo
Before using, grab the latest 32-bit sfs package for Fatdog64 811.
I haven't tested it, but the latest 32-bit sfs should work on earlier Fatdog64 800 series too (not with earlier series, though).
We also have wine-5.0.2 which is the latest stable; but it's really not much difference from wine-4.19 we published last year; and it wasn't compiled with vulkan support.
If you like packages instead of SFS, you can grab them too using gslapt (they're still uploading at the time of writing, so if you don't see them, try a bit later).
Enjoy.
Wine 8.6
I am using WINE 8.6 with Fatdog64 900
and it works well.
I can edit mp3 files with mp3directcut. The sound works.
Wine 8.6 is a pet file

Would be great to have the latest, stable Wine version 8.0.2 in Gslapt:
https://www.winehq.org/announce/8.0.2
Thanks

Traditionally, for wine we provide an official release from the development branch, such as version 8.6 in the repo. The dev branch is where solutions for software compatibility issues are first implemented and tested. Version 8.0.2 is "older" than 8.6 because it's basically version 8.0 plus some unavoidable corrections. True, 8.0.2 was released soon after 8.6 but it doesn't offer as many solutions to compatibility issues and bug fixes. Why do you need version 8.0.2?
Re: Wine 5.17 on the SFS repo
I was looking for the latest, stable Wine version in Gslapt and only found 7.11. The Wine website news section only showed 8.0.2, so I thought that's the latest, stable version.
Do we have version 8.6 in FatDog 900?
Thanks!
Re: Wine 5.17 on the SFS repo
@Neo_78, you need to use Control Panel>System>SFS Manager and load the Wine 8.6 .sfs into the filesystem. Large packages with certain use cases often get done this way for Fatdog64.
