This year, I thought I'd completed rhe challenge.

17 days without hearing Last Christmas by Wham.

Christmas always starts for me with Mariah Carey & Wham 😂

Just heard it for the first on the radio this year....better luck next year

GB RIP George Michael, local resident and missed.

For me, Wham is basically not a duo, but an editor for creating beeper music on ZX :) Although there was a version for the AY chip. If I'm not mistaken, the program was actually named after the duo.

I thought you were going to say something about alcoholism: "I haven't written music for beeper for 17 days. My hands are shaking..." :)

Different devices. Different approach.

@Jasper :-

If I manage to make it through Xmas without hearing Slade's "Merry Xmas", OR "Fairytale of New York" by the Pogues (featuring Kirsty MacColl), then as far as I'm concerned, it hasn't been Xmas. Not a proper one, at any rate.

(Both songs annoy the hell out of me, but somehow - without them - the festive season just don't seem RIGHT, somehow!) Image

(shrug...)

Mike. :D
