Transfer fossapup pupsave file to another pc

Hello to everyone!

My concern is obvious: How can i use my current fossapup distro with all its settings, software, etc to another pc via usb?

Now, when i plug usb to another pc it boots from scratch

fossapup pupsave is stored to sda1 ext4 filesystem where another linux distro is installed and i have access to this distro file system as well. Im running fossapup from a typical usb

im planning to erase this linux distro i have on hdd and install another one. If i copy pupsave file and paste it to the new distro file system will this work?

or, how can i keep this pupsave to my usb and use it everywhere i want with its current settings software etc?

INstead of your installing, modifying GRUB2 stanzas, running the distro(s) and erasing when done, Here's a consideration.

Use your system drive for merely the Session-saves you do. And boot every forum distro directly from its ISO file. You get all the benefits of the PUP/distro desktop operations when running and you never have to:

• install or

• modify GRUB2

ever again from your USB that you'll use, using it "unmodified", forever to boot all your distros you choose.

Probably easiest method would be to boot your usual PC with your USB, then create a new pupsave file on the USB itself
and not on the internal drive of the PC.

Moving to a new hard drive.
-partition and format as ext3 or 4
-do a normal Puppy install
-copy your save folder into the new drive Puppy directory

Using the save folder on a bootable USB
-Make two partitions on the USB
1 - 300mb, fat32
2 - balance of space, ext3
-set partition 1 as bootable
-normal install Puppy to partition 2
-install grub to partition 1
-copy your save folder into the new USB Puppy directory
