I'm working on a yad front end for openvpn, with the configuration files ready to work with riseup VPN, sadly Jammy 32 does not seem to load the kernel module ipv6, which appears to be a requirement

@Tenoch what kernel package is installed in the Jammy32 that will not load the ipv6 module?

@rockedge , I had to reboot.
I used bootmanager to load everything that read ip6.
Kernel 5.10.200 #1 SMP

It works now.

I can't get Safer to boot because of video problem; screen goes black and announces that the resolution/freq is out of range. I tried to use the force xorg dialog function and tell it to use radeon driver and the proper 1366x768 res but no joy, same result. This isn't a 'direct' boot from USB isolated .iso but an .iso on a Ventoy stick. I don't know if that part makes any difference; in the past problems with Easy OS + Ventoy showed up early in the process.

saferpuppy32 I assume.
I don't have any luck with Ventoy and puppy, it just doesn't create a proper grub / boot sequence and parameters
