Are these the correct settings for creating SFS using PackIt? [SOLVED]

Post by Jasper »

Hi all

These are the settings I use to create SFS files.

Is there a better/correct option to use?

Yes those are good settings. Also I use zstd compression that is included in the newer versions of PackIt. With zstd I use a compression level in between 15 and 22.

I like the xz for the smaller size but opt for zstd depending on the file if the SFS is involved in booting the system, like a rootfs.

Thanks for the feedback @rockedge .

I used "22" as the compression level and it produced a slightly larger file. But works perfectly
