Re: How to combine 2 savefile differences into one file?
Kind of hard to understand just what it is you want to do. Are these save files from different versions of Puppy?
Re: How to combine 2 savefile differences into one file?
put savefile 2 into savefile1, only adding mjssing files. #2 is newer
both for root, same OS
edit
savefile 2 contains a working google-chrome, with 555 permissions.
i can't get savefile 1 to re-install over a part-deleted google-chrome, and
i'm hoping to merge[?] the 2 files so the older #1 has a working google chrome installed.
both users are root, and running on fossapup64-9.5. i've tried to copy the new file to the old, with and without merge, and by overwrite..
file dies not appear to be transferred.
Re: How to combine 2 savefile differences into a file? fixed

Make a ydrv of your older save file and boot that ydrv with your more recent save file. If you are using the original Fossa, rename that adrv to a ydrv and rename this ydrv you have made to an adrv.
