I tried this version of Peasypdf
http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic. ... &id=112089

Seems to install and run OK.

Seems to be a script file program.
I have the fossapup 32bit compatibility sfs loaded, but I do not think it needs this.

It worked for me to convert an image to pdf.

What exactly are you trying to do?

Are you using the version of peasypdf I posted?

environment: line 37: 29380 Bus error gs -sDEVICE=pdfwrite -dNOPAUSE -dBATCH -dSAFER -sOutputFile=$EXTRACTPATH/$PAGENUM.pdf -dFirstPage=$PAGE -dLastPage=$PAGE "$PDFNAME" >> $LOGFILE 2>&1
environment: line 37: 29385 Bus error gs -sDEVICE=pdfwrite -dNOPAUSE -dBATCH -dSAFER -sOutputFile=$EXTRACTPATH/$PAGENUM.pdf -dFirstPage=$PAGE -dLastPage=$PAGE "$PDFNAME" >> $LOGFILE 2>&1

Fossapup64 9.5, frugal install, using a save, and fully updated using Quickpet->Info->Fossapup updates.

Well, I tried taking a few pages from a pdf and combine them into a new pdf.
It worked for me.

All of these are stored in /tmp/PDFjoin

Here is what I did.
5 pdf pages and the finished new pdf.
PROJECT.PDF is the new pdf with 5 pages in it.

Understanding how to run the program is probably your problem.
Start peasypdf.
Select extract tab.
Drag and drop the original pdf file into the input slot.
Extract to: select pdf
page number(s): put what pages you want to extract. As list 3, 7, 8, 4, etc..... or 1-7 as group of pages.
Click on extract.
Click on view to see what was extracted. Keep this window open so you can use it to drag and drop files.

Now select join tab
Do what the info statement says.
Drag and drop from the extracted files window you kept open, to the input slot in the join window.
Click add to open slot for new entry.
when you have added all you want.
Click on join to make new pdf.
Click view to see the completed pdf file and the stuff you put in it.
Again, the final completed pdf is the PROJECT.PDF

Rename PROJECT.PDF to whatever name you want to make it.
That is your new pdf.
Example:
mynew.pdf

I have tried a fresh install of frugal fosspup64 9.5 and fully updated and installed fossapup 32bit compatibility sfs

OK.
Wish I had that info before my last post.

That is basically how I am using Peasypdf. On a clean install of Fossapup64 9.5 fully updated.

Could you attach the pdf you are trying to extract from?
Let me see what happens for me.

The pdf i was extracting was just one that i downloaded
https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q ... 3adll_aVS1
just to check that it was working.
I have tried several since and it doesnt work with any of them, it does work in bionic pup 32.
i set the extract to option to pdf
Its weird it works ok for you. I will download the iso again incase its a bad download or something.

Thanks
