Any WIFI adapter should be able to use wep, wpa, wpa2.
Those have been standard features for many years.
The things you do not tell us, are usually the clue to fixing the problem.
When I was a kid, I wanted to be older.

it's been my experience that not all drivers support latest encryptions. that's why i asked.
