PuTTY is a free and open-source terminal emulator, serial console and network file transfer application. It supports several network protocols, including SCP, SSH, Telnet, rlogin, and raw socket connection. It can also connect to a serial port. The name "PuTTY" has no official meaning.
compiled in F96_4-CE

Re: Fossapup User Contributed Packages
This might be useful, small binary & lib. (it's a 64bit binary, so potentially work with other x64 OSes)
Gives a different output to ListDD.
To execute you have to be in the directory
/usr/bin

Basic skins
https://www.mediafire.com/file/8m2b40ma ... ar.gz/file
It is built without any skins.
You need to place them extracted into the directory shown in the screenshot:
/usr/share/mplayer/skins
Not sure if the desktop icon is correct, should be easily fixed using a text editor!
Code: Select all
./configure --prefix=/usr --enable-gui --enable-radio --enable-radio-capture --enable-freetype --enable-menu --enable-inet6 --enable-gnutls --enable-runtime-cpudetection --strip=STRIP
I do have GnuTLS & Freetype installed on my OS.
They are both available in this thread earlier.

Re: Fossapup User Contributed Packages
I finally got pulseaudio working in LXDE Fossapup64.
Fabulous ! Thanks !
When I tried to run pavucontrol PA did not connect. It turned out I needed to start the pulseaudio daemon (but not as root) to get it running. Took quite some googling until I found what was required.
For anybody else who might have the same issue, I ran this in the terminal: run-as-spot pulseaudio -D

OpenSSL 3.0.7
https://www.mediafire.com/file/ys7t3qrh ... ar.gz/file
Tried to make a PET file but the files do not all transfer over correctly.
Just zipped up the application instead.
Just extract and copy over the files into their named folders.
If you do not need the HTML files (approx 8mb) they are located in
/usr/share/doc
just do not copy them over

Icewm-3.2.3
https://www.mediafire.com/file/tuh1cf1x ... 4.pet/file
I have tried it using it and found that not all the applications are visible eg Browser, Graphics.
I think someone who is more familiar with this would be able to resolve this easily enough.

Re: Fossapup User Contributed Packages
Jasper, if you mean those applications don't show up on icewm's menus, that's likely because icewm doesn't recognize the categories identified by pets created to work under Jwm.
You might want to download and extract and examine the tar.gz I provide here, viewtopic.php?p=21369&sid=2894140f6323d ... 676#p21369. I 'flinched' it from how peebee handled menus under Openbox/lxde. My guess is that you'll have to create/specify a folder (other than xfce) in /etc/xdg or /root/ into which the category definitions will be placed. Again guessing, maybe name the folder icewm.
Re: Fossapup User Contributed Packages
@mikeslr hahahaha nothing to be embarrassed about.
This must be the 5-6th time a member has mentioned posts/applications from the old forum that do the job or provide a solution.
Without this knowledge it would be lost and why reinvent the wheel
Thank you again
It is minimal as a WM but if you only need some basic applications it will do.
I will keep hold of it and the apps/help files in your thread and have another look.

I am using a USB flash drive presently and I copied and overwrote the existing files in the i386 directory. NO new files were added, just the ones with the same file names.
I think it started up a bit quicker.
