as you're thinking about improving the package managers, (sorry I'm on CP again, dunno the new name) that what has been "pet-get" or sth. ... is there a reason to separate pet- noarch, oe-kirkstone, and so on?
Everything that is offered/working in your version of EasyOS is possible to install anyway, so why you must click thru many tabs if you're searching for sth. in "desktop" category for example? That takes so much time (and data load).
Sorry that's no complaint, just a suggestion to make search for pets easier. In my opinion the categories "Desktop", "Multimedia" .... are enaf, no need to further distinguish where the pets come from.
BTW, that's a complicated thing, coz of licences, but a category for fonts would be good too. I've downloaded many fonts, for technical drawings for instance, (but I cannot share - I dunno anymore wich are for personal use only). I have made a folder in /files, with all my fonts, but as usually I'm not updating, with every new installation I must copy these from former EasyOS versions....
One more subject: wouldn't it be helpful to create a topic for pets from puppies? Many are still working in EasyOS, I can share the ones I've tried. I am no specialist for puppies, (I don't like dogs, they are always shitting on my pavement - oops, sorry) but I found some very good pets, that are working in EasyOS.
