In short i had a problem getting my paid VPN to run properly with all the traffic passing thro/using the VPN.
The browser extensions of all FF Chrome Vivaldi all worked fine
The VPN would not connect on OpenVpn only Wireguard, or route ALL traffic.
the FIX........ simply install Oscar Talks a member here vpn-onoff-0.4.1-x86_64-fossa.pet it just works fine on EasyOS Oscar does explain somewhere what happens, i think, the version of OpenVpn built into his pet, is compatible and also the program configures the routing
myself editing resolv.conf manually specifying ip's and Dns did not help either which way, i could not get it working at all Until i installed the aforementioned pet/program by Oscar , so there is something happening under the hood, as it were, which is beyond me. But Vpn on off works for me anyway.
