barry, any way we can turn off ip6 when running woofq's 1download?
I have a problem resource site that has ip6 for viewing, but only ip4 for downloading.
It's been painfully slow as first it tries to use ip6 to download, which then has to time out, before it will retry with ip4. which of course goes through immediately.
137 packages in half a day is not my idea of fun, even if it allows me to do other things meanwhile.
i've moved the wd external drive to another machine for now that only has ip4, but it's an old basic box which means the usb ports are early type usb2.0.
thanks

Re: woofq and ip6
With wget, the "-4" option will do it.
I see that /usr/sbin/download_file has "-4" for wget.
I see, '1download' in woofQ doesn't have "-4", so you can insert it.
