EasyOS, Debian Trixie and the Sugar Learning Platform

Post by scsijon »

BarryK, I see that you have started on Trixie from debian in your EasyOs Tree. I was just wondering if your considering creating a pure Debian Trixie based EasyOS build, or is it just to update some of the additional packages you use?
If the first i'll have a play about with adding the Sugarlabs Sugar Learning Platform variations I deal with to it for you. I've also been considering adding a few other sucrose variations to what I have already dealt with it. Such as adding a Basic Business / Home Business Office Platform; a Graphics / Art Platform; and a ALL-Online Platform (where everything is via the browser frontend). But I don't want to create and maintain and fix the 'backend' part of it, sorry, I just don't have the time or energy nowadays, my graphic-art overrides all.

I created it, but currently have no plans to build a Trixie-based EasyOS.

OK, maybe i'll have a go then, or try to create a EasyOS type T2 build as i'd like to get something with containers for this and a couple of others.
